Mission

We work with communities to identify and uplift older out-of-school children through accelerated learning, skills acquisition and mentoring that unlocks their potentials and gives them a place in the society.

Objectives

- To Serve underpriviledged older out-of-school children by bridging the educational gap through free access to foundational literacy, numeracy, and essential life skills.

- To offer accelerated education and vocational training at no cost, tailored to meet the specific needs of marginalized and vulnerable youths

- To partner with volunteer facilitators and professionals in delivering workshops on entrepreneurships, business development and social media marketing, empowering participants to build sustainable livelihoods

- |To support beneficiaries with start-up kits, mentorship and ongoing guidance, helping them launch small businesses or vocational careers, thereby promoting self-reliance and economic inclusion.

About The CEO

Omolara Funto Bada is a passionate educator, youth advocate, and visionary leader committed to transforming the lives of older out-of-school children through education and empowerment. With a B.Sc. in Library Science and an M.Sc. in Educational Management, she brings over a decade of experience as a school administrator and educator. As the Executive Director of Lara-Bada Educational Foundation, Omolara leads a mission to provide accelerated learning programs and vocational skills to underserved children and teenagers, especially those who have aged out of the traditional school system. She believes that every child deserves a second chance at learning and thriving, regardless of their background or age. Omolara is also the author of “Turning 18 In A Bit”, a life-shaping book for teenagers, and has been recognized with multiple awards for her industriousness, collaboration, and impact in the education sector. Through her leadership, the Foundation is bridging educational gaps and equipping the next generation with the tools to build a better future.
